Origin:
Discovered by Pere Armand David (China, circa 1863).
Class:
Group 3, Herbaceous Group, Late, Small-flowered.  
Bloom:
Blue.  Sweet fragrance.  4 petals.  Average diameter 1".  Hyacinth-shaped bloom form.  Early summer to early autumn.  
Habit:

Height: up to 3' (up to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b.  Best in a sunny location.  This plant blooms on the current season's growth.  In early spring, cut back to just above the lowest set of healthy buds.
