Origin:
Bred by Vladyslaw Noll (Poland, before 1971). Bred by Brother Stefan Franczak (Poland, before 1975).
Introduced by Vladyslaw Noll, Warsaw, Poland in circa 1975 as 'General Sikorski'.
Introduced in United Kingdom by Fisk's Clematis Nursery in circa 1977 as 'General Sikorski'.
Class:
Large-flowered, Mid-season.  
Bloom:
Blue, yellow anthers.  up to 6 petals.  Average diameter 6".  Single, scalloped edge bloom form.  Early summer to early autumn, midsummer to early autumn.  
Habit:

Height: 6' to 8' (185 to 245cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Best in a sunny location.  Suitable for growing in a container.  It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring.  In early spring, cut back to just above the lowest set of healthy buds.
