The term Harkness has given to their new type of rose. Their flowers are partly a reflection of old-world charm, perfect for cottage gardens and informal summer border, yet they have the profusion of modern roses. Many are sweetly scented. All repeat bloom and are bred to combine superior flowering capabilities, dense and bushy habit, and resistance to disease. See also Glossary: English Legend Roses.
