Flower Carpet Roses
The Flower Carpet series has been described as the new generation of roses. They are disease-resistant, long flowering, and do not require fancy pruning or chemical spraying to prevent black spot and mildew.
Werner Noack, the breeder of the Flower Carpet Roses, says: For over 25 years we searched for a truly disease resistant, easy-care prolific blooming rose. From the very first Flower Carpet seedling, we knew that we had created a truly outstanding variety. Since then gardeners everywhere have been astounded by Flower Carpet's unique performance. It is so versatile planted anywhere around the home, garden or in the landscape.
In garden centres Flower Carpet roses are only sold in containers. Flower Carpet Twilight will feature in a bright blue pot.
Wharton Nurseries Ltd. say that the natural growth pattern of Flower Carpet is so vigorous, you can expect 2000 to 4000 flowers from a well established plant. Even in partial sun it will bloom prolically and naturally fend off disease as no other rose can.
