A leaf gall on the Eglantine, a naturalized non-native rose, outside Petaluma, California, 1 Oct 2007, possibly caused by Rose Blister Gall Wasp, Diplolepis rosaefolii. Although this species of gall wasp has only been identified on Rosa woodsii in the Sierra Nevada, it is common in Marin and Sonoma Counties of California. |
