Pinnate
Pinnate leaves are the type normal to roses; the word means 'feathered' and illustrates the leaflets arranged two by two along a leaf stalk, with one at the terminus. From Roses, by Jack Harkness.
By contrast, Rosa persica has simple leaves, with no leaflets, only the leaves themselves attached to the leaf stalk.
