Glandular
Bearing an appendage or other structure that secretes sticky or oily substances. Roses can have glandular leaf surfaces (upper or lower surfaces of the leaflets, leaf margins, petioles and stipule margins); flower structures (sepals, sepal margins receptacles, bracts and peduncles); and cane surfaces. Moss roses are known for their glandular surfaces, called mossing, but Mosses are not the only roses with glandular surfaces. See the PHOTO.
