Leafcutter Bee
Leafcutter bees are small bees that carve circular and oval holes in rose leaves. Leafcutter bees are solitary and do not live in collective hives. They carry the pieces of leaf back to their nests to line packages of pollen in which they deposit their eggs. Because Leafcutter bees are important pollinators in agriculture and their damage is only cosmetic, most rosarians ignore their work.
