Purchased two bareroots from Angel gardens, Mar 2012.
Did nothing for all of 2012.
Started blooming a bit in 2013, but no growth until June.
As of August, plants have finally started creeping a bit and producing large flowers despite being planted against a brick wall with full western exposure. Munstead Wood really seems to stand up well in the heat. I'm not looking forward to cutting them back and digging them up for the move in a few short weeks. I think had they not been disturbed, they might have finally really started looking good this Fall/Winter.
5/24/2014 - Planted in new garden.
7/18/14- One of my plants is sort of sitting there doing nothing, but the other is really happy. It's about 2 ft tall by 3 feet wide and blooms frequently. Right now there are about 15 large, highly scented blooms, and that's sort of unusual for this close to August.
2/26/2017- One of my plants died, but the other is still doing fine. It was swallowed up by a vine that I just (hopefully) got under control, so I've got to prune out all of the dead wood and freshen it up, and plant #2 will be good to go.
