Introduced in United States by Bear Creek Gardens, Inc. in 1990 as 'Brandenburg Gate'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Red.  Flowers red with light reverse.  Mild fragrance.  26 to 40 petals.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Height of 4' to 6' (120 to 185 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  
Notes:
Berlin's Brandenburg Gate is the last of its original fourteen gates. It is the site of the biggest New Year's party in Europe.
