Bloom:
Butter-yellow. Strong, anise, licorice fragrance. 30 to 45 petals. Average diameter 3". Medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped, globular, old-fashioned bloom form. Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, compact, rounded. Medium, glossy, medium green, dense foliage. Height of 28" to 33" (70 to 85 cm). Width of 20" to 26" (50 to 65 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10a. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Heat tolerant. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , very mildew resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
