Very, very HOT pink and vigorous foliage. It's nice to have a cold weather rose with a different color.

This is supposed to be hardy in Alaska. I sure hope so: I've never seen one like this live after our long winters.

Beautiful bud. Plant returned last year but not in previous years. It's such a nice rose, I was willing to buy it as an 'annual'. I'm hoping it likes its new home and will give me many more years of blooms.

This tough mini flora has returned for 3 years now with nothing but snow for cover. It's the only hardy deep apricot I've ever found. first bloom this year was July 22 due to cool, wet spring and summer.

This has been the best year for this rose. It returns, usually from the roots, every year.

This plant, a former water rose, was overwintered for five months (at least) in a cube of ice in the five gallon bucket she was grown in the summer before. The ice has thawed and she looks as good as her sister in the garden. This is one tough rose. She'll be planted in the soil this season so she can have a wide range of nutrients, not just goldfish offal. It's not a good idea to overwinter water roses in ice under 10 feet of snow but I guess this plant didn't know it. More info on water roses as www.growalaska.net.
