This is the picture I use in my online catalog. I've compared the color with the actual flower and it's very close to the actual shade. -Andy Van Cleve

This is the raised bed in front of Azalea House with the rose 'Fantin Latour' pegged so it will sprawl over on this side (picture taken June 1, 2006). Other roses pegged in this planter include; 'Linda Campbell' and 'Prairie Princess'.

I grow and train many old roses to sell for mature landscaping use but I think 'Leda' is one of my favorites.

At Azalea House Flowering Shrub Farm we specialize in low maintenence roses. 'William Baffin' is fantastic in the low maintenence garden. You see it here in our test garden in Voorheesville, Ny. I dont remove the spent blossoms but instead let the plant go out of bloom after this initial surge of flowers (around 6 weeks). Then I give it a haircut by removing all the hips and spent flowers using an electric grass shear. Then I fertilize it. After several more weeks it comes back into bloom and continues til frost. We never actually planted this plant. Instead we located it in a pot under a drip line so it wouldnt dry out. It rooted through the drainage holes and is the way you see it. Come to our plant sale in early June and I'll show it to you.
