[From www.welt-der-rosen.de] Max Krause (1880 Nordhausen - August 8, 1937) established 1913 a nursery in Witley, Surrey, England together with Wilhelm Kordes. From 1914-1919 they were interned on the Knockaole Camp on the Isle of Man as enemy foreigners. After the War he established a nursery in Alvesloh, Holstein (1924), Germany, later moved to Hasloh.
