Origin:
Bred by Soupert & Notting (Luxembourg, 1888).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1897 as 'Clothilde Soupert'.
Class:
Polyantha.  
Bloom:
White, rose-pink center, red shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 1.5".  Large, very double, cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, thornless (or almost), well-branched.  Medium green foliage.  

Height: up to 32" (up to 80cm).  Width: up to 2' (up to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b.  Blooms tend to ball in wet weather.  prefers dry climates.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.
