Introduced in Australia by Arthur Yates & Co. Ltd. in 1912 as 'Alexander Hill Gray'.

Bloom:
Lemon-yellow, ages to darker .  Strong, tea fragrance.  60 to 90 petals.  Medium to large, borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, thornless (or almost), upright.  

Height: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm).  Width: 3' (90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7a and warmer.  Blooms tend to ball in wet weather.  prefers dry climates.
