Bloom:
Red, yellow center.  Mild, spice fragrance.  5 petals.  Average diameter 2.25".  Small to medium, single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.  Glossy foliage.  
Height of 6' to 8' (185 to 245 cm).  Width of 3' to 4' (90 to 120 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer.  Can be used for garden.  Can be grown as a shrub.  can be trained as a climber.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
