Origin:
Bred by Pierre Guillot (1855-1918) (France, 1902).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1911 as 'Comtesse du Cayla'.
Class:
China / Bengale.  
Bloom:
Orange blend, yellow reverse.  Copper with saffron at the base of the petal.  Mild, tea fragrance.  18 petals.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Height of 4' to 9' (120 to 275 cm).  Width of up to 6' (up to 185 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b through 10b.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
