Moss (OGR), medium pink, 1827, ('Chapeau de Napoléon'; 'Cristata'; R. centifolia cristata; R. centifolia muscosa cristata (Prevost) Hooker; 'Crested Provence Rose'); Discovered on the wall of a convent near Fribourg; Vibert. Flowers similar to Centifolia Muscosa, but the mossy excrescences confined to the edges of the sepals.

Not a Moss, but a sport with mossy outgrowth on the sepals. Summer flowering. Height: 5 ft. Very good scent.
