Why is this once flowering rose rated twice with exellent for "Bloom frequency"?
Is there a repeat flowering sport of this rose? Or is the description wrong?

I think it's because for a once-bloomer it produces a lot of buds and has a relatively long bloom time.

Thank You Leene... but isn't that the case too with many once-flowering (old) roses?

I'm probably not the best person to answer, because my rose garden is only four years old...I can only vouch for my own opinion, but if I see a two-year old Madame Hardy produce 25 flower buds that pop up and mature over the course of several weeks as opposed to a Konigin von Danemark of the same age, which produces only 2 flowers, maybe I would consider Madame Hardy as having excellent bloom frequency. I guess that should fall under the category of "bloom quantity," though!

Leaving the category blank would probably be better, but it's a shame if the rose gets marked as "poor" for bloom frequency when it's only doing what it's supposed to do. I'm not sure if that's what other people think they give a once-bloomer high marks for bloom frequency.
