Yellow blend, red center. Strong fragrance. 5 petals. Average diameter 1". Single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Height of up to 18" (up to 45 cm).
USDA zone 4b through 9b. Drought resistant. heat tolerant. prefers dry climates. prefers full sun.

Native to eastern Persia, Afghanistan and Turkestan. Rosa persica is the only species in subgenus Hulthemia.
