Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1922 as 'Maréchal Foch'.

Bloom:
Cherry-red to pink.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Dense.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Marshal Ferdinand Foch, 1851-1929; French general in World War I. Ferdinand Foch was born on 2 October 1851 in Tarbe, France. He was commander in chief of the Allied armies in France. He died on 20 March 1929 in Paris and was buried under the domb of the Invalides along with Turenne and Napoleon I.
