Coquette de Lyon The Autumn of 1870 gave us but few new Roses. France, engaged in a struggle of life and death, had neither heart nor time for things like these. Tea; flowers canary-yellow, of medium size, fine form, and full; growth vigorous.

'Coquette de Lyon'. Well shaped flowers of moderate fulness, canary yellow of rather distinct a shade. A very charming and graceful rose flowering and flourishing well under glass, outside it prefers a shady situation. Rather delicate, which may be the reason why it is but seldom seen in England.
