Introduced in Germany by Peter Lambert in 1914 as 'Echo'.
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Light pink to carmine-pink, ages to white.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 2".  Semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, cupped bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, bushy.  

Height: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Shade tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Both Echo and Eva Teschendorff were reclassified as polyanthas (from hybrid multiflora) in MR12
