Bred by Dines Poulsen (Denmark, 1912).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1921 as 'Rödhätte'.

Bloom:
Cherry-red.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Height of up to 5' 10" (up to 180 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.  
Ploidy:
Triploid
Notes:
Rödhätte is Danish for Red Riding Hood.
