Bred by Eugene S. Boerner (United States, 1956).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1959 as 'Firecracker'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Scarlet.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 4.5".  Large, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in large clusters, flat, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy.  Light green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 2' (60cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose or garden.
