Description. Yellow petal bases form a star-like pattern for the five-petalled flowers of 'Stargazer'… a variety that should be planted closely -- not more than 18 in (45 cm) apart -- so that the leaflets make an uninterrupted background to the bright flowers.

Stargazer ('Marlena' x 'Kim'). A dwarf floribunda, by Jack Harkness, which was described in 1975, when it received a Trial Ground Certificate. The single flowers are of a bright carmine and flame blend and it is free flowering. Certificate of Merit.

Stargazer ('Marlena' x 'Kim'). A very pretty and neat floribunda by Harkness, with bright, single, flame coloured flowers. I see that I marked it highly on every visit so it must have been flowering almost continuously. Trial Ground Certificate.
