Bred by Simon (Simó) Dot (Spain, 1958).
Introduced in France by Maurice Combe in 1961 as 'Lila Vidri'.

Class:
Floribunda, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Lilac.  Moderate, lemon fragrance.  up to 30 petals.  Medium, full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed buds.  
Habit:
Compact, upright.  

Height: 3' (90cm).  Width: 3' (90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

The rose sold under the name LEILA VERDE is probably 'Lila Vidri' by Simon Dot. The name is listed as a synonym of 'Lila Vidri' by Modern Roses 12.
Arena Roses says this rose came to them from a collector on the east coast who had brought it in from Europe many years before...
