Discovered by Ketten Frères/Bros./Gebrüder (Luxembourg, 1921).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1923 as 'Madame Edouard Herriot, Cl.'.

Bloom:
Coral-red.  Strong fragrance.  Semi-double (9-16 petals), flat bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing.  
Height of up to 15' (up to 455 cm).  Width of up to 8' (up to 245 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Notes:
The Peter Beales Collection of Classic Roses for 2000-2001 describes this rose as a fairly vigorous climber of coral-red with yellow shadings.
