I am going to hold on to 'Mme. Raymond Gaujard' another season, to try and make it behave. Once in a "coon's age" it throws a gorgeous-looking bloom that is mighty restful to the eye.

New Roses 1933.  Madame Raymond Gaujard Pernt. (Pernet Ducher 1931). 2.  A very beautiful coppery-pink variety known in U.S.A. as 'Olympiad'.  The bloom is very refined in shape and colour, but the constitution is definitely weak, and it must improve considerably in this respect before becoming popular in Australia.  This tendency to die back has been noted in many countries, and until the variety has improved it cannot be recommended.
