Mr. R. T. Hamilton, Heidelberg, Vic.
McGredy's Pink is not a very interesting colour, and is a "head-hanger". Growth is good. A few exhibition blooms have been picked, but the petals are very thin, and it will probably " seal" in all but good weather. I am afraid it will have to go.

Bush Roses
McGredy's Pink (Hybrid Tea)... Beautiful bright rose; as the flower opens the outer petals shade to a pearly cream and pink with a saffron yellow base. The blooms are large, of perfect form, produced on stiff stems, free and continuous. The growth is vigorous, free and branching, with long stiff stems. It is a Rose of cosiderable merit, although variable in colour. Highly perfumed. Introduced 1936.

New Roses 1937. McGredy's Pink (HT.  McGredy 1936) F. 3.  Rose pink buds, opening to light pink blooms with a decided yellow base.  The petals are rather narrow and thin and are inclined to ball in wet weather.  Otherwise a good variety with vigorous growth and healthy foliage.  E.
