Origin:
Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1960).
Introduced in Australia by Langbecker in 1967 as 'Jan Spek'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow.  Buds often brushed red, deep yellow bloom, fading to cream.  None to mild fragrance.  up to 44 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered, flat, rosette bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, upright.  Glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 30" to 3' (75 to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Prefers cool sites..
