John F. Kennedy HT. (Boerner) Pure white with a greenish tint. Very good from bud to full bloom, being a very shapely flower of forty to fifty petals, high centred and fragrant. Leathery foliage, vigorous profuse bloom. An excellent variety. (Seedling x 'White Queen').

p126. Dr. A. S. Thomas, New Roses in Victoria.
John F. Kennedy, HT. (Boerner, 1965) Unnamed seedling x 'White Queen'. The creamish white buds have a faint greenish tinge in somewhat the same way as 'Message'.  The 45  petals make up a good conventional flower which becomes whiter as it develops. Excellent growth and apparently not susceptible to mildew.
