Introduced in France by Guillot/Roseraies Pierre Guillot in 1874 as 'Aline Sisley'.

Dark purple and violet-red, crimson shading.  Large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.

Thornless (or almost).  Glossy, dark green foliage.
