Crimson - purple, lighter center. Moderate fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), scalloped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Other references list the parent of 'Mme Antoine Rébé' is A. Karr, which could be Alphonse Karr.

Alfons Karr, b. 1808 in Paris, d. September 30, 1890 in St. Raphaël on the Riviera; is the founder of the world-famous rose cultures there. (Has made himself also a name in the beautiful Frech literature).
