Bred by Français-André Robert (France, 1852).
Introduced in Australia by Giles and Son in 1881 as 'La Neige'.
Class:
Centifolia, Hybrid Gallica.  
Bloom:
White, green center.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), button-eye, flat, rosette, scalloped bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..  Prune after flowering is finished.
