In 1964 Dominique was 8 years old, probably the youngest rose breeder ever! It must have been Paul!

This may not be important at all for most ppl :) but still...
the colour on the photos is definitely not vermillion. I've never seen this rose in person but if the photos show real colours then the description is wrong. Vermillion is red with a little yellow while the flowers on the photos have blue tint - exactly the opposite side of red (doublclick any colour in your Microsoft Paint and you'll see)

Yes, red is the most difficult colour to depict correctly in digital photos. Sometimes I even think that our eye might be seeing colours wrong.
