Bred by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) (France, before 1955).
Introduced in France by URS (Universal Rose Selection)-Meilland in 1955 as 'Premier Bal'.
Introduced in United Kingdom by Wheatcroft Brothers Ltd. in before 1965 as 'Improved Premier Bal'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Cream, pink edges, golden-yellow undertones.  Strong fragrance.  45 petals.  Large, very full (41+ petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.

Notes:
