The winter blooms seem to last surprisingly well as a cut flower. The shot shows one that I threw in a vase on a whim on Sunday morning. It's now Tuesday evening, so it's been there for three days and is still in excellent shape. Has faded slightly, but otherwise is fine.
The red one with it is Gruesome Triplets, which was cut at the same time. It's still holding its shape fairly well but has faded and is starting to blue.
Oddly enough, by this stage Old Blush has more scent than Gruesome, which is a complete reverse over the situation when they are freshly cut.

Here is the whole plant. I got it as an own root bush about 1.5 years ago. So far, so good!! No fragrance, but I love how it presents!
