'Fairlie Rede' rose Description

Orange-pink Hybrid Tea.
Registration name: Fairlie Rede
Exhibition name: Fairlie Rede
Orange-pink. Cream, tinted pink and aurore. Light pink in spring. In summer it takes on a coppery or salmon fawn center. Strong fragrance. Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Tall, armed with thorns / prickles.
Height of 47" to 5' 11" (120 to 180 cm). Width of 30" to 4' 1" (75 to 125 cm).
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
Proceeds from the sale of this rose were donated to the National Rose Society of Victoria.
Information received from Sandie Maclean reveals that Fairlie Rede was secretary of the Frankston Horticultural Society in 1938.
