Origin:
Bred by G. Peter Ilsink (Netherlands, 1985).
Introduced in Netherlands by Interplant BV in 1989 as 'Suntan'.
Class:
Miniature, Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Russet.  Mild fragrance.  30 petals.  Full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy.  Small, glossy foliage.  

Height: 1' (30cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Notes:
Sangerhausen describes the color of the bloom as coppery-orange.
