Discovered by Jan Spek Nurseries (Netherlands, 1930).

Bloom:
Yellow - pink.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Height of up to 16" (up to 40 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

The two pink sports of 'Gruss an Aachen' discovered by Kluis & Koning (1929) and by Spek (1930) are not to be discerned in commerce today.
