Bred by Eugène Verdier fils aîne (France, 1878).

Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Cherry-red.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 3.5".  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
