Origin:
Bred by Pierre Guillot (1855-1918) (France, before 1912).
Introduced in France by Guillot/Roseraies Pierre Guillot in 1912 as 'Roby'.
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, orange undertones, carmine-red reverse, ages to pink .  None / no fragrance.  5 petals.  Medium, single (4-8 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Climbing.  

Height: 9'10" to 13'1" (300 to 400cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.  very vigorous.  can be trained as a climber.  heat tolerant.  suitable for a pillar.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.  Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.  Prune lightly or not at all.
