Origin:
Bred by Gerald Adriaan Van Rossem (Netherlands, 1931).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1932 as 'E.J. Ludding'.
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1935 as 'E.J. Ludding'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, coral-pink highlights, salmon-pink highlights.  None to mild fragrance.  Large, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, spreading.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Hardy.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
