Bred by Guillaume Girin (France, 1906).
Introduced in France by Guillaume Girin in 1910 as 'Jean Girin'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1912 as 'Jean Girin'.
Class:
Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Rose-pink, blush undertones, yellow stamens.  Small to medium, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters, open bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Glossy foliage.  7 to 9 leaflets.  

Height: 6'7" to 9'10" (200 to 300cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.
