Registration name: Excelsa
Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.
Cerise, white center, ages to scarlet . None / no fragrance. Small to medium, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Small, glossy foliage.
Height of 9' 10" to 20' (300 to 610 cm). Width of up to 12' (up to 365 cm).
USDA zone 5b through 9b. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection). Prune after flowering is finished.
