Bred by Mondial Roses (Belgium, before 1963).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1963 as 'Bel Canto'.

Bloom:

Geranium-red. Double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, pointed buds.

Habit:

Upright. Bronze-green foliage.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
