Introduced in France by Jean-Pierre Vibert in 1826 as 'Fanny Sommesson'.

Light pink, ages to lighter .  Medium, full (26-40 petals), expanded , globular bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for garden or pillar.
