New Roses 1933.  Mrs. Paul Goudie  Pernt. (S. McGredy & Son 1932) F. 3. Primrose yellow, heavily edged carmine.  The flowers are large, semi-double, and very distinct.  Good growth which does not appear to die back to any extent in S.   A.H.M.Mts.P.S.

Mrs. Paul Goudie (McGredy) is after the style of 'Lord Lambourne'.  It is a large semi-double bloom; with creamy white petals broadly margined with pink.  It deserves the name 'Picture', which, however was bestowed on another variety. Growth appears better than 'Lord Lambourne', which failed badly in this respect.

S. McGredy & Son 1932) An improved 'Lord Lambourne' which does not die back. Colour deep buttercup yellow, every petal being heavily margined carmine-scarlet. Rich fruity fragrance; large and full flowers. Vigorous and bushy growth; dark green, glossy, mildew proof foliage. Price 4/- each.
Growth good; a most beautiful and distinct colour. A very promising decorative. Fruit perfume. 20 petals.
